Lift your body weight, touch a barbell, invest in a sport.
As a Muslim, South Asian woman, I haven't identified with much fitness representation in the media, or in my family tree.
But I'm not here to point fingers at the root cause. Join me in flooding the sports and recreation spaces with our presences, rewriting the norm. This is just the beginning, ladies!
I've trained 120+ women as a Women's Fitness Ambassador at the University of Toronto, and I work as a Personal Trainer at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre.
I've also developed tailored group fitness courses for Muslim women - see below for registration info!
Learn gentle mobility and Pilates to reduce stiffness, improve movement, and build confidence exercising safely.
Understand simple nutrition basics while building strength and flexibility through beginner strength training and yoga.
Learn how women’s bodies and energy change, paired with core training and low-impact cardio.
Build sustainable fitness habits with accessible HIIT and guided meditation for mind and body.
One of my key learnings was the importance of making small, sustainable changes rather than trying to overhaul everything at once. I feel more energetic, have more knowledge about exercises to keep me healthy, and even noticed my knee pains have gone since the first day. The program was very well-structured, supportive, and easy to follow.

Operations AdministratorI learned that we don’t have to set aside huge amounts of time for workouts. Little exercises during day-to-day life build up over time. From the first week to the fourth week, I feel more energized and motivated to prioritize fitness. The workout sessions were really good and well organized.
